Whether on the paddle wheel steamboat "Hohentwiel" from 1913 or the lovingly restored Art Déco motor ship "Österreich" from 1928: with Historische Schifffahrt Bodensee, you can embark on a journey through time into the history of Lake Constance shipping. With unusual themed trips or a "two eras" trip aboard both ships, the HSB has just the right thing for you - a definite recommendation!

Instead of being on the water, you will be above it on a Zeppelin flight. With the Zeppelin NT you will fly from Friedrichshafen, the "birthplace" of the Zeppelin, to Lindau, Bregenz, Switzerland or over the entire Lake Constance. You float gently over beautiful landscapes and enjoy views that you won't experience anywhere else.

The Lake Constance course ships connect numerous places on the lake - use the ship as a mode of transport and enjoy the wonderful views! There are also various round trips and themed cruises on offer. Round trips from Lindau Island can be found at the Bodensee-Schiffahrt. The Lochau Kaiserstrand pier can also be reached on foot or with bikes from the holiday lodge. The pier is the starting point for a round trip through Bregenz Bay with Vorarlberg Lines, for example.

Fancy getting active and exploring Lake Constance by stand-up paddling? You will find rental centres at Lindau's Lindenhofbad, at Kaiserstrand in Lochau or at the Wasserburg surf and SUP school, to name just a few. Various lessons are also offered there, from SUP to wing surfing.
